    United denied the report.

At this point, I don't care for Sancho. We already have an underperforming team full of clowns that all feel as though they should be in the first... and I also can't understand why the one player that we brought in can't even get into the first team. What a fkin mess!

If reports are to be believed (and I'm not saying i do at all), we will have Ousmane Dembele, Luka Jovic and Upamecano in place before transfer window closes.

All would be decent, although seemingly completely random, signings I suppose, although can't pretend to know anything about Upamecano so won't.

Can only assume that Ighalo then goes back to his Chinese club?

The Sancho saga is just yet another embarrassment now, we really should be just forget all about it.

I believe that the fee for Sancho is ridiculous! Clubs are going to start seeing the accelerated impact of the pandemic on their financials especially with fans not participating. Dortmund are being ridiculous with that asking price.

The midfield is already overcrowded. I say move on!

    Cavani deal almost done.

fingers crossed this is not a rerun of the Falcao episode which was absolutely disastrous.

Or then could be another Zlatan?

We need a centre forward so hopefully it works out.

I hope you are right but I fear Cavani may be closer in temperament to falcao being a South American and all that. If we get the Cavani of PSG or Zlatan or even 80% of him we’ve got a good deal. The question is whether Ole could use him to the best effect to improve the productivity of the attack and not hamper it. It’s not as easy as it seems.

If you read the comments on BBC, you would think that this is bound to be a disaster signing a 33 year old. I don’t buy it! They would have said the same thing had we resigned Ronaldo, Zlatan got the job done at older age, and being a South American doesn’t make him Falcao.

I would pick him over any of our forward players right now.

    No one will want him.

Abysmal performance. Given a head start but the defence was just non existent. No fight or running from the midfield. An absolute disgrace. The new recruits may or may not improve things but is this the players downing tools?

I feel a sense of irony coming on. Jose gets sacked by us and moves to Spurs and rejuvenates them - we part company, with thanks, to Ole and get Poch in to replace him, the man who rejuvenated a flagging Spurs side ............................... repeat, repeat

I think it's been coming. The defence has been **** for ages and we never addressed it.

This shouldn't just be Ole falling on his sword btw. That would be a cop out. He needs to go but the reason we are where we are was there well before Ole and will be there after him as well unless Woodward is turfed out the club. The guy is an UTTER ****.

Woodward is the worst thing to happen to United in my lifetime.

It’s causality! If the Glazers weren’t the owners, we won’t still have Woodward. This is where the blame squarely falls on the owners. Those that they’ve put in place to administer the club have completely failed the club’s traditions.

As for Ole, he needs to be gone by tomorrow morning. But I don’t see that happening because we have Mr Woodward.

Greatest mistake under Ole was panhandling Pogba when he had completely disrespected the club through his agent. He should have been sold there and then. It’s the distinction in great managers and average ones like Ole unfortunately. To have van de Beek on the bench with Pogba playing kills my soul.

I really hope today’s game is a great opportunity for the club to correct course.

Why is Woodward still at the club? Where is the director of football that is essential for a club of this size?

It is all the fault of Woodward who has wasted the good work of last season but he is not the only one at fault. The ****ing GGs have clearly a say in all of this. Look at Chelsea and City. They identify the problems and get it sorted within weeks and before the start of the season.

As long as the GGs and their poodle Woodward are around this club will stay in the doldrums.

They're all on the gravy train (I don't include Ole in that, he wants the best for the club but simply isn't good enough).

But Glazers and Woodward are parasites. They serve themselves and each other.... as long as the money keeps rolling in they don't give a fck.

Don’t get me wrong, I disdain Woodward. But today’s showing was Solskjaer’s. Let’s not for one single second lose sight of that. It is the manager’s job to bring the best out of what he has and interchange when someone is not performing. Ole fails this very first requirement.

Case in point - how the fk did Pogba become so invincible that he gets to start every game when he’s been sh* 80% of times that he pulled on the shirt? What the flying fk?

That has nothing to do with transfers or lack of! The one single frickin player that we’ve brought in can’t even get a game. Two of the defenders in the squad were bought under Ole. Do we want a full new squad to make the team play?

De Gea too! How is he still number one after the disastrous showings from last season? The list of mismanagement goes on! This team is full of talents but they have no real manager to inspire them to perform.

Any other top club in Europe, Ole would be gone by tomorrow morning after today’s shame. But hey, with Mr Woodward in charge, Ole will be given until the end of the season.

What we have become is rather sad.

I said this on the PL Board, Ole should resign himself.

Do what's best for the club, because let's be honest it's unlikely the Board have the intelligence to do it.

Lets put this in some perspective. This season is already throwing up some extraordinary results - partly down to VAR, but, for me, the most obvious factor is the complete lack of home advantage - as I type, Liverpool are losing by two goals to Villa, by the end of the game I suspect there will have been another eight goals. Without crowds to intimidate the opposition and to lift and inspire the home side, PL matches are turning out to be little more than glorified training sessions - turn the 'crowd effect sounds' off on Sky and the difference is obvious. This has to impact on the players. City have lost badly, we've lost badly, the Spuds have lost and Everton are top of the league. Patience is required in this extraordinary season - but that doesn't ignore the fact that Woodward's mis-management of the club is getting worse, year on year. He won't be removed from his role - he is one of the best at what he does, but we need him fenced off from the footballing side for the good of the club.

No way is he getting till the end of the season, he got that last season.

I doubt he'll make it till the end of next week.

That's how United roll currently, it's always someone else's fault so Woodward will just fire the bullet.

Without acknowledging it was him who (ludicrously) gave him the job in the first place.

There's little doubt in my mind the empty stadiums are having an effect on scorelines. But both teams are playing in the same ground and clearly one can handle it better than the other. Our performances have been **** since the start of the season, masked by the post or crossbar saving us most of the time. In fact we were **** at the end of last season when we threw away two decent chances of silverware.

The men at the top see this purely as a business and profits are still rolling in so all is good, it's just not great but what do they care. It's like a failing bank where the bloke at the top is still creaming off millions in bonuses and nothing changes.

So, can only assume that today is going to be depressingly hap hazard.

What an utter ****ing mess we've become.

For all the decent signings Solskjaer has made, he is now doing a very good job of turning some of them to ****e. Maguire the most obvious, but even Wan Bissaka is starting to look dodgy.

He's failed to improved the raw materials of Dan James. This is where coaching and management comes in, you work with these players to ****ing improve them, you don't just stick them in the team so they can become a focal point of fan unrest.

Isolating Chris Smalling is a mistake, not just essentially sacking Rojo is a mistake.

Selling Lukaku is an absolute gigantic blunder of the biggest proportions, made worse by never coming close to replacing him, or even ever suggesting a suitable replacement. There isn't one out there so, I know, let's sell a goal scoring No.9 in the absolute prime of his life and loan someone in from China (China ffs!!!) to replace him, then sign up a 34 year old free agent. Genius.

Getting rid of the club captain in Ashley Young for **** sake. Would Ashley Young have given up yesterday? No, would he ****.

Why did we buy van der Beek? Anyone know? To give Matic on occasional five minute rest? I just don't get it.

I'd say a blindingly obvious best midfield three would be Fred, VDB and Fernandez. This had never been played.

Best centre half partnership would be Maguire and Smalling. This has never been played.

We have no right winger. Why not coach that right footed winger Dan James into the role? This has never been tried, they instead throw an even younger centre forward into the role and hope that works instead. He is now in poor form.

The whole coaching set up is a ****ing joke and no amount of DoF is going to change that.

The club needs ripping down and rebuilding top to bottom.

I'm changing the thread title too, Ole can go and get ****ed with his rebuild.
