Transfer Rumours Let's ignore the big ****ing elephant and blame the latest manager, again. Are we nearly there yet?

FU grammar police! lol

It's not the grammar, it's the fact it ruined any point you were trying to make. Which tbf was already dying a death anyway lets be honest <whistle>

I think we should just start posting pics of the United women's team and rate them wid ye? or widne? Far more productive.

We're fcked, I'm not enjoying the football one bit. Just get this season done and see what happens.

Well, I've got to drive up there tomorrow night, taking the bastard M6 into account, so I bloody well hope it is enjoyable!

Should be a good day actually. Early kick off so early pre match beers. My son still loves to go, he's never seen them lose yet but has endured a couple of dodgy performances to be frank, and I still enjoy the buzz two or three times a year as well. (couldn't go every week mind)

Early finish means couple of beers post match too, which is a nice change from just heading off home straight away.

Meal out locally with me Mum after, then pack them off home so I can go on the pop with mates locally. Looking forward to it actually.

Bar the football itself, obvs, which will likely be ****e.

Very interesting (and worrying) quote from Ten Hags presser today.

VALUE OF A TEAM
“I think nowadays it's much more difficult to be as a team. Players are much more their own individuals with their people around them. They all have their [own] say, their own business units, their own companies and to construct that as a team, that is the biggest change I think in the last, I would say, 15, 20 years.”

Do you think that’s an indication he’s perhaps unable to handle the workload of managing a club like United versus Ajax where he would have had more autonomy over football affairs and players?

Sounds more to me like some players have "other interests" that come before football.
To be a good footballer the job should come first every time wth total dedication, anything else should be fit into your spare time as a hobby.

Gareth Southgate being touted in the press as a summer replacement for ETH. No reason why not.
And you have Seb Coe as your new stadium adviser, the man responsible for the debacle that is the London Stadium, good for 2 weeks, a disaster for the following 12 years.

I can think of a few!
But honestly who else?
Your mate Potter shot his bolt at Chelsea
My mate Ancelotti can't come out to play
Tuchel would last one season before a fight broke out
Nagelsmannnnn, for me he is a touch of the emperor's new clothes
ZZ - Doesn't want
Jose - no way

After them it's a choice from assorted managers (Potters) who all look good on paper in the mid-table but cannot manage a club on the scale of United.

I meant I could think of a few reason why not, not a few alternatives! Not sure I've ever stated Potters case by the way but that's another discussion.

Reason 1 - he's an international manager. This is not the same as a club manager, at all.
Reason 2 - even so, he's not actually had success. Losing a final we should have pissed is not success, he managed the situation very badly.
Reason 3 - see above.
Reason 4 - when he was a club manager, it wasn't a success. I admit, a few years back but the point still stands.
Reason 5 - as above. His club management is limited, so had no European or high end pressure whatsoever. This would concern me.
Reason 6 - he has the personality of a wet fish.
Reason 7 - his tactics are worse than his personality!

Does there need to be a who else at the moment?

Lets see the season out. I'm sure the 'preferred' options are simply just options all being considered at this stage.

I'm sure the Ineos bods sitting in a room somewhere dressed in white coats have developed an algorithm which shows Southgate to be the perfect fit
