If you take the money he earned after tax from Manchester City (even without any dodgy tax schemes) and take off living expenses he would still be able to get about half a million a year just by investing it in practically risk free investments. Add on the money he saves from his time at Everton and from now until retirement and you can see him having an income of about a million a year after he retires without having to get out of bed.
I know that people go on about the money that footballers earn but when you actually calculate it it's even more shocking.
