Evening all.
I'm so glad I avoided this forum while the game was on. I've just read it back and the negativity is crazy.
We won.
Cooper is a defender and we kept a clean sheet against a team that beat Citeh away.
Roberts was a million times better than James up front.
I thought James had one of his better games for us.
Forshaw was excellent again. In the Brighton game he ran more than anyone, I bet he was close today again.
Firpo started poorly but I think he got much better as the half went on.
We're suffering up front without Paddy but..

We won!

There's no easy games in the PL.

Cheer up ffs!

Regarding Cooper @blonogasoven (I think it was me who had a pop at him). I thought he made too many mistakes first half and was very poor. 2nd half he was a giant amongst men. Really good! :emoticon-0148-yes:

Going to agree with all that mate.
James ran his nags off, yes he scuffed the final ball too much but boy his energy his pace and he battled back brilliantly.
Roberts again had a good game and where he went quiet its because as everyone who has played up top this season we dont get the ball to them so not enough chances. Fair play to Roberts though, thats 2 out of 2 which has been good. The 11 before that I will forget if he keeps it up he also ran all night.
Forshaw excellent and 2 matches in 3 days. He looks fit and we have just gone 2 clean sheets on the bounce. We may just have our midfield DM and CM filled with Phillips and Forshaw
I was also impressed at how much Roberts popped up in our own half being a nuisance to their attacks

I agree. I'll be honest here though. I kinda roll my eyes at the kid more than I should and its not because of how he plays. It's the fact we paid 25 million for him when we needed that money elsewhere. I have to try and rid that thought from my head when I watch him. Maybe other people just can't get over it and he becomes a target.
Exactly this, no way do I believe he is worth £25m but he is far better than Harrison. One area Harrison does have him beat, Harrison you have more chance of a better cross but that’s a bit hit and miss. James provides great cover out left and his a good outlet with his pace. Defenders dare not give him a yard. If he does have the defending RB beat he always drags another CB over

Morning all.
Delighted wiyh the 3 points. There were flashes of decent football last night but they ended up having to grind out a result and they did.
@Emu I only mentioned Cooper because he comes in for a bit of stick. He's much more comfortable now receiving the ball, he blocks with any part of his body, he doesn't just dive in and he does try to pick a ball out. Remember it was his header that got us the pen last night.
I've also got to agree that Meslier is a top keeper.
Brentford will be just as tough :)

They’re only 1 point above us he says positively.

Brentford play on Thursday night. They have less time than us between matches. They don't have great depth of quality in their squad so rotation isn't really an option. They have nosedived recently after a bright start. We are at home with players returning from injury.

It's a game that we should be winning.

Genuine question
Does anyone know a way of turning commentary off whilst keeping crowd noise, that plonka Ally McCoist just does my head in made himself look a right idiot last night<laugh>

No idea about turning the commentary off. McCoist can be annoying but he does like Leeds (Bielsa's Leeds anyway).

Going to need a goal scorer in the team to do that. At present we have one who is capable.
