Hats off to Farke, subs worked. What a watch. Start of the week if you’d have said 4 points and 2.5 good performances. Class.
Wouldn't be good for a new coach to come in and get those three hard games, would be so Leedsy to take 5 points from those three and we plod along still debating Farke sack rumours into January

It was nearly so Leedsy

Yesterday i thought our goalie was poor. After watching the highlights again i think he could have done better with two of their goals. How is he an improvement on Meslier i just don't see it.

To be fair, Shako would have been an improvement on Meslier.

What a game.

Fair to say the boys are playing for Farke

A mix of 5/10 to 8/10 player performance wise yesterday but their commitment was 10/10, you dont get that when a manager as lost the dressing room, Stach said having the crowd behind them as they were helps but the want and desire needs to be there initially.

Well, FML. The old Leeds and the new Leeds all in one game. Meslier was good at making himself big for the likes of their first and third goal, but that was a hospital pass from Rodon for their opener.
I think they were all still tired from the Chelsea game, so the pace and a few braincells had gone. Stach goal though and the build up, simple triangles and pure quality.
Any recommendations for a new defibrillator? Mine's burnt out from overuse.

Still seems to be a lot unhappiness with Pirri which I don’t get. Yesterday he pulled off at least 2 worldies and seems to do it in most matches. Think he’s had a big learning curve over here and he ain’t happy with tippy tappy at the back but think he’s stopping more than gets past him

Think we’re seeing a mixed bag from him. Made some good saves at city and 2 last night. The one from gakpo at 2-0 kept us in the game, He made a decent one at 2-2 as well.

flip side, 2nd goal at city, 2nd goal tonight he probably could have done better. Think he made szoboszkai’s mind up for the 3rd. That one’s nitpicking though. He looks like he’s settling in a bit.

I seem to remember blaming Gudmensen for the 2nd goal at the time for losing the ball on the touch line when we started piling forward. Admittedly I haven’t watched it back yet. The 3rd was a good finish and one you’d expect the attacking player to make from that position, the problem was not stopping the ball from reaching the goal scorer as the attack unfolded.

Agree, the crowd being behind you can quickly turn badly if the players heads are in the wrong place.

first goal was all on Rodon.

2nd goal was bad pass from struijk, gudmondson should have played safe but didn’t, Perri was a bit unlucky but if you decide to come for those you have to deal with them.

3rd goal was tanaka losing discipline. It was great from Liverpool’s perspective, but I felt Perri got his angles slightly out. As I said it’s a nitpick, not a blame.

I have nothing against him as a person and agree that playing out from the back doesn't work for him. My issue is that Meslier was pillorised by our support for making mistakes which I accept he did. All keepers make mistakes and I'd have stuck with him as he was at the end of his contract. Maybe the transfer fee would have been better for another area. Anyway it is what it is so hopefully, Perri will build on things. He did make a fantastic save yesterday.

Can't beat the old style keepers who used to try and take the strikers head off and coming out with the knee up. Load of nancy boys these days and ours could been braver yesterday to dive at the feet.
