Perhaps it’s just me, but I really enjoyed our cup run and I thought we played some really good stuff back then
But that was a fair while back before it went downwards- December 2017 Bristol City v Man Utd 2-1 to us.
The fall came after the cup run.

Surely success is based on achieving against expectations, LJ did to a point, ie year on year improvement, but failed ultimately to reach the playoffs. He was given 4 years plus to achieve the main goal.Very true. I focus on the league points and positions, others don't....

Nige is only one year in, and seems to have achieved his first goal of staying up. Now he has a very difficult task of somehow managing to improve on this season, whilst having to reduce costs, (not something LJ ever had to do).
Can we compare the two?, not yet really. It’s all academic really, LJ failed and rightly was got rid of, Nige will go the same way if he fails, as of yet he hasn’t, I personally hope he doesn’t fail, not for his sake, but for ours.
The football under NP is so much more attacking and quicker and enjoyable on the eye.

Why not ask the person responsible? The owner you know the man who makes the decisions. It's a Shame, after being the most successful manager we'd had since Alan Dicks.....But progress was required and I'm just working out how well that's going..![]()
