Seeing a few people surprised that he has been sacked, I for one am not. We've had some absolute rancid results. Battered more than once and would more than likely happen again, to the point where you question if he really knows what he is doing tactics wise.

We only needed a back three because We had such a weak midfield who were a shambles when we lost the ball. Left the defence exposed Saying that I think LJ almost cracked it. If he had brought in a strong DM I think things would have been different
Yeah, I totally agree. That's how we ended up going down this route of discussion because any new manager is still not going to have that DM, unless one comes in tomorrow.

I can see it now, "You tell him, no you tell him, f££k off you tell him, no you tell him", ah right there lads? Hi Duncan, see you Monday big man.
My favourite Duncan Ferguson story is when two tooled up scallies broke into his house intending to rob him. He woke up. He took care of them. The Police were not needed. There were a couple of ambulances called

I dont want any of the old guard managers. It would be a huge risk but I would go with Rob Edwards. He has experience of the top leagues as a player, he retired early and has been outstanding as a coach with England youths and then with Wolves u23 who he promoted to the top league for the very first time. Now, he is in his first management job at Forest Green and has them top of the league. He is a head coach and would seem to fit with the direction our club is heading in.

In all seriousness, he might be a reasonable option. Well thought of at Everton, by both the club and the players. He coached there under some good managers, like Ancellotti and some poor ones like Benitez. Arsenal took a punt on Arteta, who had coached under Pep and after a sticky start he's found his feet.

Given the list of alternatives that's been touted on here, I think Ferguson fairs fairly well.

From what my Everton supporting mates tell me he is old school - lots of fist clenching to the crowd but an absence of tactics. Like a Scottish Chris Coleman

Very true. Going to be interesting to see who if anyone we bring in Difficult to recruit to a team without a manager

This is the sort of signing I'd expect us to be looking at tbh

I would love Nigel Clough to live his dads dream Personally but would also be happy with the other names being branded, Pearson, warnock, Ferguson, Keane
We’ve had a few opportunities to appoint Nigel, but we’ve always overlooked him.. I’ve never understood why
