Like I said earlier. The EU is loaning money to take jobs away from the EU. They should have been loaning money to these companies or maybe even incentivising these companies to create jobs in the poorer EU countries. I had a very nice discussion a few weeks ago with a Lithuanian about the catch22 of Lithuanians having to go to Germany or the UK to find work which then means that Lithuania loses the talent that could help the country grow. The EU and its policies has caused "brain drain" across the poorer EU countries and then champions it's freedom of movement policy as this great success.
You cannot blame people for looking after themselves and if having to vote out of the EU means that things won't get even harder for them then that is what they will do. IT is called human nature. Should I think of what jobs will be left when my children reach working age if they don't have the luck of being clever enough to go into further education? Or should I worry about other people?
Watch the maps. Everywhere there is low paid factory or farm work is voting leave. That is the millions of displaced British workers voting because they want to work and not be given free handouts and pushed onto schemes to keep the unemployment figures low.
Yes it is me vs them but not because I don't like them. I have to protect me and my family first. That is human nature.
Edinburgh will slash the lead by quite a bit
Polling stations were rather quiet up here, Glasgow was a 50% turnout, we'll be higher though.
The Guardian are saying that the Labour party are now working on the assumption that Leave will win.
But majority of Labour voters isn't enough: Tories will vote for Brexit 2:1, UKIP universally, so Labour need to have 75% In vote really.

Bloody 'ell chaps, get up for my early morning wee wee and grab a listen to R4 to hear we're making a right pickle out of this.
I still think the remains will nick it at the death but this is not the referendum I was promised.
We better hurry up and get Claude in the manager's job before it's too late...!

I am not blaming you.
Who am I to judge? I mean, I'm American. I would vote strongly against us joining the EU.
I'm actually kind of on the leaver side on this.
It's not like you are declaring war. You just decided you don't want to play on team EU anymore, because you feel like it isn't worth it. That is your right.
I am pretty sure the EU would adamantly oppose letting me and my redneck, uncouth loudmouth country in their little club, so let's not pretend they are all for peace and understanding.
I just think it is better not to tiptoe around the issue. It isn't black or white. Define who you are, where you stand, and the trade-offs you understand you are making. Assertively state your shade of grey.
Otherwise it is politics as usual. That is what they do. Create a false dichotomy, turn it into a wedge, doom-monger, and force people to accept a bunch of bullshit because the fear of not doing so is worse.
It is about citizen vs immigrants, nation vs region, etc. Better to own it and explain than to deny it.
