He appears to have decided off the cuff that he has the legal right to rescind citizenship without resort to the courts. Not sure if this is legal or not, but my guess is The Daily Mail headlines came before the law in his thinking process here.
I have said this before that the Home Office has every right to do exactly what it did and she then has every right to appeal the decision, first to the HO and then to the courts.
Its a fairly long-winded process though that could see her in limbo for absignificant period of time.

Yeah. She strangely washed it before the sniffer dogs turned up claiming that the Teddy stunk of sun tan lotion.

No parent would ever wash away the smell of their missing child.
