I’m not reading through all the arguing but what I will say is that, from the interviews I’ve seen, she doesn’t talk like a 19-year-old. She still comes across like a thick, petulant 15-year-old. I doubt she’s grown up much emotionally since she’s been a terrorist’s baby-making slave.
Have you completely ruled out that love was anywhere involved or have I been naive? <laugh>

My last comment on the subject is this
If she comes back and gets a 20 year sentence, she'll do 10 years living among like minded people, then she'll be free to roam the streets
Sorry but that doesn't sit well with me. If she gets a life sentence for treason? then it should be a full life term. Same with any other terrorist of any colour.

Surely that is treason isn't it?

Perhaps, but assisting terrorism invokes a number of specific charges under the terrorism act 2000.

Perhaps a compromise solution could be to try her in her absence for the offences she's already admitted. That way her well meaning supporters can campaign for her to come home to a nice long stay, swapping a terrorist cell for a prison one. Obviously until she proves she's renounced her support, she'd need to be in isolation to prevent her radicalising others and for her own protection.

What as she admitted to? I’ve not seen the news yet.
