I was going by what was said on here initially ie she has dual nationality and is also Bangladeshi
As I know it this can happen. Think I mentioned that some folk having nadra cards instead of visas to visit Pakistan have got into trouble under that law

from all accounts she was a very intelligent girl so why would you put her down by saying she didn't know what she was doing when she left the country. Do you think the pupils striking know what they are doing, if so what makes them different?
I can't see this standing up in court. It sounds like the British Government are trying to pass her off on the Bangladeshi technicality of bloodline. So basically it means it's her place of birth, even though she wasn't born there, what sort of fooked up shhite is this. We are just passing the buck on Bangladesh on some technicality!

Seems to me they are trying to do it by bloodline, because i've seen nothing else that suggests she has dual nationality, i fooking hope the government can prove this bolloxs, otherwise we are going to be made look a right bunch of numpties in court.
I think this is a tactical error by the Government. She can now ask the courts to review the decision and she might win because the criteria are very strict. It would have been better to wait and see what happened next.

Well there are people applying for citizenship of Ireland and other country's right now based on bloodline to avoid brexit, I guess it can work both ways.
