I don't see why you'd fly him out to Italy when he's on the verge of coming back from an injury and then not play him though. Surely its just one extra complication. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get 10 or 15 mins at the end just to get him up to speed for West Ham.

More training time with the team.

My feeling too Hudd, I just don't get this one. Mind you I'm used to it by now with AVB :)

Can neither of you see that every training session with the team (not back home on his own) under his, or anyones belt for that matter is a plus.

I'm with Notso on this one. I'm sure that he's had plenty of rest and gym sessions, so training with the other players has to be a plus, surely?

I'm back, just read that Brad might be off to Blackburn, am getting ready to do a jig of delight around the living room if this happens :)

Nothing against Brad, but at long last the ridiculous Lloris saga will be over.

Back to the game - I wanted us to take this one easy and leave a lot of our best players in London. We haven't so

Lloris, Naughton, Gallas, Dawson, Vertonghen, Huddlestone, Sandro Lennon, Bale, Dempsey, Adebayor.

"Nothing against Brad, but I'll do a jig of delight around the living room" <doh>

Lloris, Walker, Caulker, Vertonghen, Naughton, Sandro, Carroll, Sigi, Bale, Dempsey, Adebayor.

Subs - Cudicini, Dawson, Livermore, Lennon, Dembele, Huddlestone, Defoe.

Good side, looking forward to seeing Carroll start as I think we all are. Hopefully he'll be seen as the back up for Dembele if he has a good match, too much of games seem to pass Huddlestone by.

really happy with this line up.

I'd like to see Sig and Demps swap though. I think both will be more effective in each others positions.

some good cover on the bench too, if we have problems. <ok>

4 goals disallowed against lazio!! I'm beginning to think "conspiracy"!! <laugh>

Was that carroll who made the pass? It was sublime, who ever it was.

I was gonna say the same thing. AVB should be telling the team to get him on the ball more and more.

Itv's **** commentary. A pass like that, and they didnt even say who it was! <doh>

Sandro looks of the pace so far. - to be fair, he needs a rest.

I'm starting to agree with that BBC feed update guy that last week said Lloris tends to go for the Hollywood save too often.

He had plenty of time there to adjust his position and comfortably stop that shot.
