Okay, I'll admit that the "Hitler" jibe was as misjudged and it was unfair. I never meant it the way that it came out - I was quite angry, at the time - but, nevertheless, I apologise for any offense that its use may have caused.

Only big men apologise, thanks Big Man! <ok>

We didn't see it in every game last season, that's for sure. Infact in the second half of the season I can't think of any ocassions(Arsenal, maybe?). It's much rarer than you seem to think and relies on the opposition team pushing up to give him the space to get in behind which hasn't often happened this year.

I think we might be missing each others point mate. I'm not saying Bale's surging runs is all he has and every game should be like Inter seeing him bombing repeatedly down the wing, my point is if he wanted too in this system its a helluva lot more difficult, imo nigh on impossible. For two seasons it wasn't as rare as you think!, especially at home. Of course he then got doubled up on and had difficulty coming to terms with that, which is why we saw it less, then of course manager change and its all out the window now. <ok>

You also say its worked to a degree with Dembele, imo it's been equally when the opposition is having an off day...or half as it seems! United a prime example, it worked while they were **** for 45mins, but different story 2nd half. Dembele is important, but he's not the key to success with this system imo. <ok>
