Peckham's fine, just a bit too dear because of the Dulwich effect. It's changed a bit since Trotters International Trading operated there.

Peckham was OK even in the late 1980's if you didn't go looking for trouble.
I lived there for two years after first leaving home. Never had any bother.
Some smelly bin bags outside the local kebab shop was the worst thing I ever encountered.
It was like Notting Hill for geezers.

Hmmmmm, I'll not repeat my earlier post.

There is a terrible undercurrent of hostility there, a bit like Croydon and Tottenham.

Of course, everyone's experience will be different. But I found it OK...

Ponders End is nice this time of year.

You may even spot me on my morning walk to get the newspapers and a sausage sarnie.

In the warmer months, I reside on the Essex/Suffolk border.

I like to watch Auditing Britain on YouTube, his vlogs on Hounslow will in years to come be like Dickens writings of his time. :emoticon-0138-think

He's the South African dude from the Oxford area, allegedly with a criminal record, seemingly a common theme with these 'auditors'(
<laugh> ).

He is the same as all the other auditors, wtf do they get this term from as they do not do what the name suggests.
1 Hide behind the camera
2 Never give their name
3 Always evasive
4 Always interrupt
5 Answer a question with a question
6 Can incite violence knowing the people on the other end of the camera can lose their jobs, so safe in the knowledge of being the 'big man'.

Lowlife scum with nothing else better to do with their lives.

His name is available online, I wouldn't mind his bank balance from YouTube income. :emoticon-0138-think

Simon Wilson is a youtuber, now that is a bank balance to drool over. A nice geezer as well.

How do you start these channels btw? I can see a void in the market over here!

Just sign up for an account, it's not easy to grow a channel though and you need a new angle. :emoticon-0138-think

Behave yourself, it is an atrocious place in every way imaginable. It's an absolute toilet.

I have a mate that lives near Telegraph Hill(between Nunhead and Brockley), I was staying there whilst waiting to move into a property I was buying.

Around 6 in the evening, this was in the summer so in broad daylight, a guy was being chased by police, he was on a pushbike, bizarrely the coppers cornered him but he still managed to slip away whilst getting out of the car! Something dodgy was going on, a drug runner perhaps? Anyway, I kid you not, an hour later before we were approaching Peckham High Street, a geezer was selling some drugs at a bus stop, brazen as you like. My wife was with me, now she is a bit innocent to certain things and I had to point out to her what was going on, and that the police chase was 'interesting'.

A month earlier, around lunchtime on a midweek, we went to Morrisons, and that was cordoned off as there had been a stabbing outside.

You'll be saying Croydon is alright next.
No way. But Peckham is. The Peckham Spring is a feature. Horses for courses.

I think you’ll find it’s changed a bit round Peckham and New Cross , some of the properties around there are lovely big Victorian house which are slowly being changed back from HMO’s into single occupancy don’t get me wrong still some s**t holes around but changed for the better since I worked there

But still a toilet.

Anybody that says otherwise are talking out of their :emoticon-0172-mooni and are related to Khan.

I'll get the ball rolling.

This happened no more than three weeks ago, a 3 minutes walk from my slum.

Crack on mate, I may live here but I am well aware of the drawbacks(ooo err), I see them every day.

I'll almost certainly agree with you.
All I know is I love their music. THeir football fans always have a good time with the Scotland fans whenever they thrash us in the W/C.
