So the 6m permanent deal quoted can be withdrawn by QPR? Dont see Mike agreeing to that to be honest.

Hopefully QPR get relegated anyway so can see what excuses the media will make for Harry.

Like bri said it will depend on qpr coming back up, thats what i would expect any club to have agreed.

Aye that would be funny as ****, harry houdini my arse

I thought it was a formal charge but raking around it seems there is confusion between the two, tbf they happened within a week of each other

Its different in english footy for some stupid reason, foreign players are written in stone, fee agreed at point of loan, like our caluska (apparent £1.7m fee agreed) qpr could have negotiated anything they want as a permanent deal does not have to be a condition of the deal like the rest of europe

Can I just add. The loan to buy option only guarantees and accepted bid. Any other club can match that accepted bid and the player can then talk to who he wants. If he has a blinding season and fancies playing in the champions league and there's interest then you're ****ed. and if he underperforms and you think he's worse less than the agreed fee but still want the player then you're ****ed. We hate loan deals because it's a lose lose situation.

Better than Shola though eh?

Haha just meant its worth getting him in for a season loan rather than having Shola as back up

Or you could have made a more appropriate signing, There's always a risk he might not kick a ball this season. You just signed an injured player who won't be fully fit for 2 months. Think about it dude.

I'm not doubting you've signed a player of good quality but you yourself surely must be able see that this signing carries a considerable risk. Add that to the fact you've lost your other targets, the bloke is doing a dreadful job.

I think we all know hes doing an awful job. My point was he might miss 3 games but i still wanted us to get him in.

If QPR come back up, then he may end up back at his parent club but QPR have absolutely no power to stop Newcastle activating that release clause whilst they're registered as a Championship club. Furthermore, from what I'd assume, that £2m fee that Newcastle paid will stop any other club being able to negotiate with Loic Remy before he is re-registered with QPR, the same as BMW can't take my company car off me, even though they own it, effectively it's my property until the contract says it's theirs again. Looks water tight to me.

There's always the possibility of other clubs whispering in his agents ear, probably Liverpool since that's how they go about their pathetic signings, but contractually there wouldn't be a lot more that Newcastle could do to have him, whilst covering themselves from any possibility with his rapey allegations.

The difference between this loan and the Welbeck to SAFC loan is that Fergie never allowed for an option to buy, whereas Harry Redknapp has no say in the matter.

Your going off the chronicle, that is the only media outlet reporting mid sept, all others are saying mid october at the earliest

I always like to be optimistic otherwise i'd never watch football! Which is why i think we will do enough with current squad to not get relegated.

Pardew has come out and said he'll miss the first three games. After that there is an international break and then he'll be available for selection.

Fair enough lads, how long has he been at the club now?

Seems a bit fishy that it coincides with his court date, but then i love a good conspiracy theory

Maybe they can send him back if charged and then we dont have to pay if he hasnt played. Pardew said when he signed that he picked up a calf injury while at QPR though.
