Surely even the EFL can work out a kick off time 12 hours
after they know who is in the final ?

There can't be that many options

What a fooking buggers muddle. Southampton - Middlesbrough Spygate.

In ten days time we are supposed to be playing. The normal timescale for these hearings is 14 days to provide a response to the accusations.

"A spokesperson said late on Tuesday that the commission is going through the due legal process so no timescales can be confirmed yet."

Not the Kick Off time to worry about, how about the date now?

Funny how the EFL took the best part of the transfer window to decide our sanction appeal but they can get this decision pushed through before tickets go on sale.

It is a bit Jim though innit? Just over 12,000 at the semi final in Doncaster, which was a bit poor for two of the biggest clubs in the sport. I honestly do not know what they have to do to attract the crowds back, if they ever had big crowds that is?
I watched the Rovers game on the BBC and it was decent coverage, but in the following sports news coverage the woman's football semi finals got far more coverage and I don't remember the RL game even getting a mention, although it was shown on the BBC earlier in the day.
Interesting situation looming up locally. Will Rovers and City share a civic reception and which club if any will be offered an open deck bus tour of the city?
Remembering the last time City won promotion via the Play Off's we had neither.
Wasn't there only a handful of players left at the club after the play-off win in 2016? Could have been a motorbike and sidecar parade, rather than a bus top one.

Joking aside, wasn't the relationship between the owners and council pretty bad by then.. made it difficult for anything to be organised between the two.

Not a fan of rugby at all
Union or league
But not sure why it needs to be called tinpot

Its just a minority sport
And its pointless to compare to football

And if we win these playoffs
There will 100% be a parade at the city hall

2016 the club was just so toxic and everything
Having not gone to the last play off (because I didn’t want us to go up and extend the Allam’s involvement, and couldn’t face watching the game there in that frame of mind) I’m looking forward to this.
Chuffed for everyone involved in the club that we got there.
On balance going up would be good for the club, I think…that’s not a given, but if we don’t we get to avoid VAR for another year so there’s positives whatever really.
Let’s just enjoy it

2016 was a poor show. I remember attending a ticketed event at the stadium when the trophy was paraded. Announced last minute on the day it actually took place and as a result the players walked around the pitch showing the trophy and their medals to a crowd of about 5,000. No open deck bus tour, and the excuse given, as you said, was that most players had already flown away on holiday, The relationship between the club and the council was at an all time low so I hope things have thawed out a bit since.

Southampton have replied to a fan saying they ticket information will be released this afternoon and tickets will go on sale tomorrow.

£700 quid spent so far on hotels and trains for me and my two teenagers, and thats before the tickets. Expensive lark this Wembley business
You can understand why The Man City end had a lot of empty seats for their Cup Semi final to be fair when they go nearly every year , dont think i could afford for us to be a succesful side..
