Kind of crazy right? If my Irish passport is damaged or expired, I can't travel to the UK despite having a valid Aus passport, but my wife who only has an Aus passport has no issues. Not sure why the status of my Irish passport should matter other than that if I want to travel on my Aus passport I abide by the requirements for Aus citizens - i.e. obtain an ETA.
Me and my eldest are in the same situation - can't travel to the UK without a valid UK passport (he's never had one, but has applied now), but my daughters, who aren't British citizens, can on their Norwegian passports... Apparently half a million of us in the same situation... Strange oversight - you'd think that someone would have thought of this before.

when is this info coming, werent Rovers Tickets on sale about an hour after Full time!?
We still don't even know what time it's kicking off!!! What in the **** are the EFL playing at here?

As an aside, not that I know if I'll even get a ticket,I looked on our official website this morning and saw '12.00 am' and immediately produced a litter of fluffy kittens,as I've booked a flight that lands at Luton at 11.10 am!!!

I had to do some google research to come to the conclusion that that is infact midnight :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I saw a British woman get stuck at passport control in Poland coming back to the UK with her British passport as they said she needed her German one. It turned into a right old situation she ended up stuck there well over an hour, managers coming down to intervene. Finally got sorted when she got someone to go to her house and show officials the German passport over video call. Never seen anything like it! Mad really because all her family walked straight through on British passports but they didn’t like the fact she was dual nationality for some reason. Fair play to her for remaining calm throughout.

If you have a valid passport and follow the rules for that passport I have no idea why they make it so complicated.

The official British line is that it brings us in line with other countries like the US and Australia. It's been really badly communicated though.

I did think that Irish passport holders were exempt though?

The supposed Brexit benefit of becoming a third-national country, touted by some, was that it would open up the possibility of preferential travel and working visas to the US and Australia.

But someone forget to tell this to the US public who have voted three consecutive presidents in to office, all of whom haven't been huge fans of the UK and largely dismissive of any change in status. And from what i gather, Albanese isn't pro-UK either.

Too late for me to get to either country on a skilled working visa due to my age, so I'll have to trawl the internet for an obese psychopathic troll to marry to get my green card if I should ever choose to emigrate.

I can see the other lads have liked your post, so one of them may have messaged a supermod already, but I've requested the ban be left now anyway.
I’m not bothered about having access to the entire Premier League sub-forums like the common Prem forum or other teams’ forums, if that’s a problem. I’d just like to keep access to the City one if we go up.

Sounds like an interesting career choice. Where do I apply?

Yeah my Irish passport is damaged though and had assumed I could travel on my aus one.

Not sure that your, frankly absurd, penchant for puddings disguised as alcoholic drinks will be catered for in a trailer park in texas... So leave it to me to explore further.

Tinpot sport so they needed the money comments incoming!!
It is a bit Jim though innit? Just over 12,000 at the semi final in Doncaster, which was a bit poor for two of the biggest clubs in the sport. I honestly do not know what they have to do to attract the crowds back, if they ever had big crowds that is?
I watched the Rovers game on the BBC and it was decent coverage, but in the following sports news coverage the woman's football semi finals got far more coverage and I don't remember the RL game even getting a mention, although it was shown on the BBC earlier in the day.
Interesting situation looming up locally. Will Rovers and City share a civic reception and which club if any will be offered an open deck bus tour of the city?
Remembering the last time City won promotion via the Play Off's we had neither.

Not a fan of rugby at all
Union or league
But not sure why it needs to be called tinpot

Its just a minority sport
And its pointless to compare to football

And if we win these playoffs
There will 100% be a parade at the city hall

2016 the club was just so toxic and everything
