If I'm in a room full of attractive healthy women such as a changing room at a sport event then it is a natural reaction for my eyes to scan towards these women so why would it be any different for a homosexual male or female? If sexual attraction is the reasoning for having different changing rooms separating groups by sexual orientation makes more sense than separating by gender.

Why should they have to tell everyone? Maybe they simply don't feel it's anyone else's business, which quite frankly it isn't.
People can control themselves when in a situation such as a changing room, be they gay/straight or other. So people don't go on beaches as there maybe nice ladies in bikinis. Or nice men in mankinis. I don't know what you lot do when in a changing room to be so worried that a gay bloke will come on to you. People do have self control. We exercise it every day. Or there would be rampant shagging in the streets. I guddle about in peoples groins all day and I've yet to have anyone not be able to control themself.
I don't know about you but I certainly can't help staring at nice ladies on the beach, particularly in Spain where often they have nothing on. Obviously they don't mind else they wouldn't expose themselves, but not everyone doesn't mind else public exposure wouldn't be a crime. It's a male trait that you can't help but have a good ganders at something appealing like a naked lady for most of us, or in a homosexuals case a sausage and meatballs. No matter their sexual orientation, bollocks if you think a bloke wouldn't have a snidey examination in the changing room, it's natural, it's exactly what I'd be doing in a women's changing room and every man who's honest to himself would admit to the same.
Personally I'm not happy to be stared at for a strangers sexual gratification.

And you do know that if a homosexual footballer enters a changing room (as happens on, we can safely assume, a fairly regular basis), they are going there to get changed (hence the name), rather to secretly crack one off?
