I really don't think Butland is a sensible option right now. Just seen scott loach is leaving Watford for ipswich. He was meant to be the next big thing and our future England no.1. If anything he would have been a great shout as we could have got him at a good price and taken a risk of re developing his talent to where he was expected to be. It's so hard to judge keepers. Butland could be the next big thing, or he could just be another good rated young keeper who ends up in league one like smithies and Lewis etc. better option is gordan or a keeper like loach.

Never rated loach, think he was badly over hyped. Whenever I saw him play he didn't command his box at all
