Some sort of bullshit, mine still isn't back on. I'm sending this via the ether. Apparently I can't connect to the DNS Server. Or something.

I'm in Cott and I'm connected on ADSL. It went down at about 8.00 but came back up at about 9.00.

Mine still says it can't find the DSL. I'm on Hallgate, maybe our DSL box is just ****.

The exchange has several pieces of equipment called DSLAM's. It looks like the DSLAM controlling your ADSL is on it's arse.

Great, that'll be at least 2 days before it's fixed then...

Exactly, fond memories and where I was brought up. I was shocked to see the last time I passed my old school building Anlaby CP is no more.

My home internet service from KCOM is a joke, it's now got so bad, that junior (who runs a YouTube channel), has to drive to Elloughton to his sister's house to upload his videos.

And they charge a fortune for their useless service.

Hopefully Lightstream will be in the village soon, so at least while they're robbing me blind, I will at least be able to get on the internet.

    Don’t rely on that
I’ve got lightstream and at best it’s no better than my old connection and at worst ...it’s worse

I was in a business at Doxford Park yesterday and there was general mayhem. It is a huge call centre hub and reports were flying around of systems, both supply to private punters and commercial business systems, going down left, right and centre. At first it was thought it was purely down to Black Friday week, but then it became a concern - nothing reported on local news, but odd Hull area suffering too...

****, don't tell me that, I was banking on that to sort all my woes.

It's bang on at No.1 daughters.

They built a new Wolfreton on Carr lane to replace the two old schools (Wolfreton Upper and Lower)

It was down in half of Hull, Cottingham, Willerby and Anlaby and probably other places as well. It's hard to tell if it was down in Cave, as it doesn't work half the time anyway.
