There could well be a reason for that. Be honest, had you heard of him before you signed him, was he a player you were really excited about getting? Lots of players have the odd great season (hence my comment about Matic), some just develop late, maybe Kante is the latter, another good season may clear this up.
You gotta be ****ting me. Are you ****ing real?? Matic had one season?? He had an outstanding 18 months carrying Lamps, Rambo & Cesc all along. He was marked for obvious reasons last year and Gus screwed him over after Jose screwed us over. Did you even see Matic's last 4 or 5 games for us last season?? And about fading away - Great players who had great season - never fade away; Good players who had good season - may fade away. Kante, Matic et al are Great!!
If/when Kanté & Mahrez leave l just hope LC have got replacements in place/mind. l can understand players wanting to go to the likes of Chelsea, but this summer ? Even CL football & a big wage package can´t keep them then...
Unfortunately for you, Conte doesn't rate him which is why he has come for Kante. Will also result in Pogba joining Man Utd if the rumours are true as Juventus want him signed first.
Oh bo**ocks. If we are we being honest very few of us had heard of Kante when we signed him. We are now premier league Champs, I hope he stays but if he doesn't we shall move on. Mahrez, I hope stays.
What a shame. Kante is now destined (if rumours correct) to be part of a group of individual, overpaid players as opposed to being a member of a team of champions. I'd be more concerned if any of the back four were thinking of packing their bags tbh.
Is reported he will be on £150k p/w at Chelsea. I wonder if he'll still have the same motivation to perform - especially since Conte is known to be a disiplinarian and I've seen him threaten to kill his players when they lost the ball during the Euros...
Way off the mark. The guy was a major force for us last season, but like us all if we can better ourselves (or think we can) we will move on.

I just feel really disappointed with the guy, I felt he was better than that. In a couple of years Chelsea may be a better proposition than us, but they're clearly not this season. He could have stayed here and proven himself, but I can't help but feel he's jumped at the first available opportunity, and doesn't feel confident in his abilities to perform for another season. Mendy and Amartey have big shoes to fill now!
Spot on, he can't have any faith in himself hence the desperation to force a move now. Then again, I felt worse before yesterday's rumours. Now if you gave me this but said it means we will keep Mahrez and Walsh, I'd have driven Kante to Chelsea myself
He's a **** player anyway and the guy you've signed to replace him is twice the player Kante is.... right? Shame he's gone, I think all those players should have given Leicester one more season while you're in the CL and say after that if you want to go we won't stand in your way. Don't know if there's much you could have done to keep him? Could you have just refused point blank to sell even if he kicked up a fuss? This season was going to be a struggle to replicate anywhere near levels you got to last year but no reason you couldn't have easily pushed for a European place this season with all the same players. You'd think with Vardy signalling his intent to stay it would help keep the other 2 star players. Top signing for Chelsea if he plays like he did for you last season, money talks at the end of the day I guess.
He had a clause in his contract that Chelsea met - nothing we could do if he wanted to leave otherwise we would have sold him for double. I knew it would happen but it it still hurts he has left - curse of being a supporter innit.
I thought Chinese club bid £35m and was rejected, what was the clause exactly? We refused to sell Suarez after Arsenal met his clause as well, not sure if would have had a leg to stand on I anyone challenged that at time though.
