I bet West ham didn't allow him to have.a.bloody release clause in his contract!!!
 
If he keeps that up he'll be gone this summer, he could get in any team, He's not just a destroyer either the lad can pass the ball.

Best in the world at what he does.

It's been a pleasure watching him in a Leicester shirt, he's earnt the right to play for any of the world's top clubs.

...I agree...if he stays with us for another season it will be a huge bonus... Cambiasso came to us at the end of a distinguished career...Kante is at the start of one...
 
Agreed that he is the worlds best holding midfielder and it won't be long till 'The Kante' is spoke about for years to come like 'The Makelele' is.

He's not staying but work done to the little lad!
 
If I say I see him going down, eventually, as Banks, Shilton and Linekar as one of the truely world class players to have worn the shirt, would I be going too far?
 
If only England had a defensive midfield player who could do the same as Kante .... perhaps one who had played in the same team with the same work ethic. Such a player obviously doesn't exist otherwise a perceptive coach like Woy would have had him in his squad.

I wonder if Woy has a plan B that doesn't look remarkably similar to his plan A?
 
Difference is though that drinkwater only plays in the middle whereas Kante plays both sides of him in a 4-5-2!

Probably alongside Cambiasso and Mancini - the others did it for a long time here while these had a season or less.

Ah yes I get you but I don't mean as club legends I mean as genuine world class players to have played for us not as has-beens (Mancini and Cambiasso-harshly-I'm putting in this bracket as it was his twilight)
 
Kante is the one I most want to stay. I think teams have started to figure out Mahrez and Vardy is replaceable. However there is no-one like Kante. Read somewhere that he is waiting to see what Vardy does so hopefully both stay.

If we can´t keep our top players after winning the lge/qualifing for the champs lge then I dread to think what will happen next season when/if we finish in a more realistic position in the prem lge.
I just hope we really do have some good players coming in, season in season out, to replace them & not do a Blackburn or worse.
I don´t expect to win the lge again next season, but l do expect us to grow as a club & start to knock on the `top 4 door` every season.
