Kaboul

And some player's aren't the same after injuries.

Yes kabul is better than what we got but that's not hard is it pal. If the lad stays injury free then fair enough but I doubt he will.
This is the negative, usual suspects, blah blah blah concerns and with good reason as far as I'm concerned. Not sure why it's upsetting so many people, tbh

Don't give a **** what people think pal. I have my say on a player and that's that. Been please with the signing so far but iam the usual negative man because I don't think this is a good signing.

Very happy with the way we have done our business so far, and this is no exception. A proven Premier League defender for a minimal fee, who still has a good few years left in him yet.

Good signing, decent player with lots of experience, I would like another CB unless Rodwell is going to play there:

Kabul, Oshea, Brown and Coates.

We could end up with no fit centre backs if were not careful, we need 1 more IMO. Still with Coates having a season under his belt and Kabul being a big upgrade on Vergini were looking better at CB this season IF Oshea and Brown can stay fit and at the same level as last season.

Quality is fine but this is the concern, would loved to have got Virgil Van Dijk in.

My phones on the blink mate, but I hope to get it back tomorrow...We will be getting the train down to York on Saturday 25th, and if it is OK with you and Lollie, me and Sue would like to pop round for half an hour or so to see you..

Sunderland defender Younes Kaboul is relishing the prospect of football on Wearside after sealing a summer switch from Tottenham Hotspur.
The move sees Kaboul’s time in English football come full circle with the French international making his Tottenham Hotspur debut at the Stadium of Light in August 2007.
During his time at White Hart Lane he won the League Cup, helped secure UEFA Champins League qualification with a game-winning assist, broke Arsenal hearts and captained the club, with an 18-month spell at Portsmouth and international call-ups cementing his place among the best defenders in the Barclays Premier League.
And after putting pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Black Cats, safc.com caught up with Kaboul who reflected on the past, present and future.
“It is an honour and I’m delighted to join Sunderland,” said Kaboul. “Everything went quickly but I’m very happy to be here and it is a good opportunity for me, so I can’t wait to meet up with my new team-mates and for the first day against Leicester City.
“I will give the maximum every time I play and have no regrets by giving everything in each game, of course a season is very long and you will have ups and downs but the most important thing is to stick together with the fans and the team.”
He continued: “I can’t wait [to play at the Stadium of Light] and every time we played here we were preparing from Monday because knew what we were going to get.
“The atmosphere is unbelievable and when Sunderland score the entire stadium goes crazy which is a joy.
“Joining Sunderland today is perfect.”
