He didn't have Brown, O'Shea & Vergini as competiton.

He'll be an improvement on what we have imo, Coates & Kaboul would be way better than what we played most of last season with.

That's part the reason I didn't want him, that and his comments. Is he improving us? defo, way better than we have. But you can really tell we're getting down target number 3 or 4. His lack of playing time is a big worry. He'll get my support no worries, I would probably have tried to loan him off you though rather than part with a bigger fee and a longer contract.

But players have regular injuries then stop getting them often, it's a tiny fee for a player with that many PL games behind him, and he's absolutely better than what we have.

    £3 mil, whats the problem?

And the whole comments before he went to Pompey, it was as usual about money. Look at the way they were run and then compare the stature of the both clubs.

It's basic Rog, we are getting him for nowt in reality, when fit he's a quality CB, rock solid.

He's picked up injuries last couple years, possibly as a result of playing less and as such not being fully match sharp. It happens.

And some player's aren't the same after injuries.

Yes kabul is better than what we got but that's not hard is it pal. If the lad stays injury free then fair enough but I doubt he will.
