His name is Luis Suarez he wore the famous red
I just can't get enough i just can't get enough
When he scores a volley or when he scores a head
I just can't get enough jus can't get enough
He scores a goal and the cop goes wild
And I just can't seem to get enough Suarez

Soundness was brilliant. Obviously he could tackle but he could also pick a pass and score too. Wonderful player.

I am writing this on a tablet and the ducking (****ing) thing keeps changing the words I write. It's Souness.

You're only allowed to pick one, who you selecting...

PS...Dalglish should be in there imo. Maybe Owen too

What are we picking them for? Not to move into a bungalow in Brighton with I hope.

Assuming we're talking about footballing... Rush was always my hero.

If we're talking about gay sex, I pick Torres, he at least looks a little like a girl.

Two references to homosexuality in one post? Is there something you want to tell us? Did this explain your obsession with milk too? ;)

Mascherano would be nowhere and I mean nowhere near any team when souness and alonso are abpvailable.

Alonso was every bit as hard as mascherano but just better in every way.

Alonso and Mascherano different.

Mascherano was a true defensive midfielder. He was the epitome of defensive midfielding. Never knew a better tackler of the ball, or anyone who could break play better.

If I'm playing a true defensive midfielder it's Mash.

Alonso is a better all round midfielder. He's great deep but can also contribute to creating chances.

What Liverpool XI would people choose post Rafa?

Reina
Clyne - Matip - Carragher - Flanno
Mascherano
Hendo - - - - Coutinho
Gerrard
Suarez - Studge

I think GK (Reina's latter years), LB, DM (latter months) & CM stand out as weak spots that we've failed to address

Post rafa?

Hmmm

1. flanno no. that just shows how **** it is. he wasn't even bloody any good! Baed on pens alone it;d be milner
2. Masch? ermmmmm he was sold in the summer transfer window and played ONE game under Woy. so no. the reality is gerrard since rafa would be in that DM slot sadly.. that bad.
3. I'd just add lallana to it and go this way (and this is entirely based on 19 games in 2016!!!

Reina
Clyne Matip Carragher Milner
Henderson Gerrard Lallana
Suarez Studge Coutinho
The fact is this just points to how poor our transfer policy has been in large part but there you go. mane unlucky that sturridge scrapes in on the strength of one season.
