Isn't guy demel a right back? we need nzog to balance the side up with natural width. Larsson right, nzogbia left. then meyler, catts, colback (gardiner/gibson) to fight it out for central midfield. I don't think wed get the best out of sess as an orthodox left winger and he doesn't track back so would leave the left back exposed. I think he's best just behind the striker/s

As been quoted that Bruce won't go for African player's as everybody already knows.

A shame if that's to be true because there is certainly talent out there, ok so Bruce will lose them for a max of 3-4 weeks, Bruce had a depleted squad for the best part of 3 months.

On another note can Bruce force Gyan to stay when the ACN arrives or his Gyan entitled to participate in the tournament?

Absolute criminal that team, and again we have no left wing. Sorry pal you have it all wrong there as Demel is a right back and is 30 year old now plus Ivory coast international so a no go there.

Do like the idea of a midfield of Larssen, Catts,Gardner and Sess.

Just need someone up front with Gyan..Maybe it will be Wellbeck, or Whickham

We were at our best when we played 2 strikers, with Gyan and Welbeck performing on song.

Sadly I think Welbeck (Like so many young English players) Has been affected by the insane amount of pressure and expectation that the English media piles upon them (Im looking at you, The Sun newspaper)
As expected, just like the first team, the under 21s were billed as potential tournament winners, in a lazy attempt to initiate a nationalistic ego-****, totally disregarding the quality of the other teams, with the classic "Phwoooarr Englands the best country in the world! We're so great so we're going to win!" that took place, they were set up for an almighty fall. Just like the first team, they failed miserably and crashed out early on.

I genuinely feel this attitude towards our national team and players, which totally lacks humility and reason, severely hinders the progression of players. It feasts upon hype, for example if a player has a great spell, such as Welbeck, he may over-estimate his own ability, he may become arrogant, he may simply crumble under the pressure. Until a lighter touch is taken towards our national team, we will keep failing.

Slightly digressed there, I know.
