Here we are, round two of the brawler v's the boxer.
I'm very much all in on the under-dog.
And I've cancelled my Gym membership and now subscribed to weekly Burritos!
I'm getting into shape!

He's had weights hid on him at the weigh-in. No way is Ruiz 20st 3.

Good first round by AJ. He needs to keep working that jab to keep Ruiz from coming inside.

 

AJ has started with far more purpose than last time. He's taking him seriously now.

 

That eye could be a problem for Ruiz. It looks like its right on the bone, that's causing him all sorts of problems. It's practically impossible to close up without stitches.

 

Both cut now. Looks like they won't get in the way of their vision though.

Closer round there with Ruiz keeping to the centre and scoring a couple good body shots. AJ still took it, just.

 

4th round to Ruiz

Felt like AJ was just going to edge it, but Ruiz buzzed him in the last 10 seconds there.

 

He can take some punishment this kid mind, ****ing hell.

 

Brilliant performance from AJ so far, just needs to make sure he doesn't get tagged. He looks so much better at this weight than when he's been heavier.

 

Yeah he's been pretty much flawless. He got roped into a slog in that round, he needs to make sure he keeps away from that trap.

The fight is his to lose now.
