Yeah but footballs moved on and offering peanuts ain't gonna cut is it. He'd have prob got a better offer from Scunny
Take Tymon out of the equation, we seem to make a right mess of our player contracts generally. Most clubs, as soon as they realise they've got a prospect on their hands, offer them improved terms to secure them on longer deals. We rarely do this, despite it making obvious business sense. We had Maguire, Robertson and Clucas on relatively cheap deals, due to them coming from lesser leagues, yet we've not offered improved terms to any of them. Seems bizarre to me.
Just to nip it in the bud, be too late I reckon but we did a new contract for Sam Clucas beginning of last season. The **** Ehab
Wow what a deflection. Three year deal as well for Clucas. I've heard it's 500 quid a week though ...
Oh aye, so we did. Still, there's eleven players out of contract at the end of this season, who we'll lose for nothing if we don't flog them now. Maguire's obviously gone already, Robertson will probably go, we're trying to cash in on Hernandez and even the likes of Meyler and Jakupovic are better than frees.
You seem to associate unwavering defence of the Allams with loyalty to the club. The Allams are the biggest threat to our club and they're digging their heels in and going nowhere. You're defending them and only them. They are not the club. They are everything wrong with modern football. They've turned me right off watching or getting excited about my club which I never ever thought would be possible. It feels like they'll never leave and this situation is just going to keep running and getting worse. But as you can probably tell, what bothers me most is that some people defend them with every blow they strike into the club and community. We should be united but some fans actually back them. Whatever the next big controversy is, and we all know there'll definitely be plenty more, doesn't matter what it is, you'll back them no matter what. It's just sad I think. There's not much we can do about them until they do get bored and go if that ever happens, but pretending there isn't a problem and attacking whoever their latest victim is just makes it so much worse.
We aren't going to keep robbo, much as we'd all like. I'd like to keep Abel but he's agitating to go. They'll be sitting down with players with a year to go and some won't sign and some will. Us and our type of clubs are powerless if we have a saleable asset. I can't blame Hudd if he goes. It's a last payday for him with a signing. On fee. I hope he stays though.
He'll be another Paul Anderson. Went to Liverpool because of the lure of the 'BIG' club. Got no where near the 1st team. No plying his trade at Mansfield. JT is not as good as he or his dad thinks.
Never mind literature they own it. They're strangling the very enthusiasm out of what should have been our golden years. There's no interaction with anyone but the Yorkshire post which is extremely sad.
Aren't you in control of your own emotions or thoughts? You want to go and enjoy it go. There's plenty of people literally dying who'd love to go. Get it in perspective. We've had loads of **** owners. I'll stop me going no one else.
Too right. Its a lateral move. I've seen a few reckon Stoke could be coming our way. They've been punching way above their weight for far too long.
Most. Every single person who pays a penny into their empire supports them and justifies every action they take. That is still the vast majority of our fan base. Some might grumble, and they might grumble loudly, but they still support their continued association with our club. They haven't had enough until they've had enough.
Yes I am in control but my enthusiasm has been drained. Football should be for enjoyment not for some pricks on massive ego trips. He owns the club I've supported since I was 10 and I can't stand the arrogant little ****ing bastard. He ain't getting anymore of my cash. It's that simple really.
