I am pissed off tonight, the club seems stuck in the deepest rut in its history, with no sign of escape.
I can’t blame the investors, but surely they need to step in soon. They have been mugged right off by the 3 greasers in the SMT.
Just got texted by my Southampton mate. He predicted that Jones would fail when he first came, and I argued with him..
Just watched Nathan Jones’ post match interview. Terry Smith is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike, and let Jones get away with his usual “we played on the front foot” rubbish, as well as half the 4 mins being devoted to the ref’s performance. You never hear Nathan Jones talk about us actually playing football - you know, stuff like slick passing, fast movement, quality finishing. Never. It’s all management speak & garbled BS.
Potts & Hylton are only contracted to January & both need fvcking off. The money wasted at the end on those two and Alan Campbell should have gone on one half decent player.
My 1st choice would be Bowyer, the only individual who’s had any success as Charlton manager in well over a decade.
Bowyer couldn’t work with those two characters could he? Nice thought that he would come back but we are stuck with Jones. Can’t see a sacking tbh
It’s been well covered on here the problems with Jones, Methane and Scott. The investors have had their pants pulled down and won’t be here next season. It look like we gotta wait out the drab 3 until they have squeezed every pip they can. What a shocking state of affairs.
