Corruption. As i said religion is just a way to control people and when you control people it gets worse. The uprisings are finally happening in places where they've been badly needed but a large number of Islamic countrys have been treated like **** not just by western superpowers but by the people that run them

My Great Uncle joined the TA because they got two weeks away in the country 'on holiday'. Unfortunately for him he joined in 1939 <laugh>

Got captured at Dunkirk and spent 5 years in a POW camp in Poland. Apparently he always said he didn't want his holiday to be that long.

No I haven't. But...

I do not believe it's right to take a life, so I couldn't do it anyway. Not that I'd be anywhere near the physical level they demand of you.

I have several friends who are in the army, a few who have lost their lives, and some of whom have been in the army and had very successful careers and it works (worked) for them, but personally I can't support it.

I don't think anyone can make a moral judgement on anyone or anything, but this is a forum, and i was merely expressing the point of view that works for me.

A case of bad timing. At least he got the chance to learn how to speak Polish for free.
 
With the 11th coming up on Friday will not606 be closing down for two minutes silence or will it just be left up to individuals to do their own thing?
 
Given that those who'd be paying their respects should be in two minutes of silent thought anyway surely they aren't going to be using said minutes to post on here?

Abusive ? Clearly, but generally football related.

Islamophobe ? To a degree, but not more so than several national dailies.

Racist ? I haven't read every one of his posts, but I am unaware of it at the moment.
