If/when he is found guilty we will have no choice but to terminate his contract.

Given he's probably our most saleable asset could the club sue him to effectively recoup potential lost transfer fee?

Is there any precedence for this in sport?

Chelsea sued Mutu for being a junkie I think.

Maybe clubs have insurance to safeguard against abnormal stuff happening with/to their players.

They did, and they won, and most importantly they won the appeal as well.

Didn't Mutu have to pay them £16million or summat, what a bastard.

I don't think AJ's done it, it's looking more and more like horse ****.

Just been reading up on it mate, looks like he's avoided paying anything to Chelsea and even went on record to say '**** them' hahaha

He was ordered to pay it back, but the most recent thing I found was him joining some Indian Super team and still owing the money to Chelsea.

I remember when he was at Fiorentina, on about 80k a week, he had a lawyer saying '**** that he has to pay for his ex wife' or similar.

Canny salary she's on, probs had her killed and buried.

I do remember that as he didn't pay the fine he was stripped of all endorsments etc, on FIFA they called him 'Murgu' as he couldn't be seen to profit from licensing etc.

Bit shan, 'here's a £16million debt, and oh, by the way we have ****ed you good so you can't pay it, enjoy!'.

Ended up at Cesena looking like a hobo.

He's got a few properties in Miami according to some report I just read.

I wouldn't feel sorry for him just yet.

I bet he's still on the beak mind.

Comfortably the most depraved thing I have ever seen on this forum and I've spoken to Comm, Bill and Stu about all sorts.
