I said there'd be phone evidence etc and hey ho he's been charged with grooming.

That's ridiculous this is one case. I believe he's guilty based on what I've seen and read. Whats wrong with that?
If i was ever unfortunate enough to be called for jury service then I'djudge it on the evidence presented. The juries I've seen make me shudder, not two brain cells to rub together in some cases. Might actually help them having someone with a law degree.

None of my mackem mates have ever said he is guilty and should be sent down...on the other hand all mags at work say he his guilty and should be sent down. Jono the skunk slayer
You are all expecting him to enter a not guilty plea? What if he has already admitted it and pleads guilty? I've not seen any article where he has denied it?
How on earth do you know all this? For all we know the grooming charge could be for arranging a stay in a hotel with this lass without knowing a thing about her age..We just don't know at present..
Allegedly he has had sex with a 15 year old. If proved, he is in a very bad place - regardless of any protestations about being told (or otherwise) by her she was of an acceptable age.
Anyway, a married man with kids? (I'm sure when he signed for us I saw a picture on here with him carrying a bairn).......

Anyone remember when we signed AJ - the outpouring from all of the Mags saying "He's a mag" or "He's a geordie" etc. etc. - not many of them now is there?
It will be decided in a court of law if he has broken the law with a 15 year old. The club I suppose cannot suspend/sack him until he is found to have broken the law.
Whether he is 'guilty' or not is a whole other question, for sure he has made life more difficult for his team mates/the club/us fans by being stupid and becoming involved (sex innocent or not) with an under age girl, it does affect morale and the PR around the club/fans
