This is exactly the kind of thing we need more of. It embarrasses the Allams, shows they aren't untouchable just as he said and it'll make them fear their own sponsors in future. They'll be checking every sponsor for banners now; I bet they'll love that. The Allams know it's ramping up and they're being bothered from all angles. They'll be worrying what the next action will be.

Johnny just gave an excellent account of himself and his reasoning on the Burnsy show, also said he was disappointed he'd caused problems for John Hawley.
John himself thought cancelling his Premier Club memberships would achieve absolutely nothing and it was only from the middle of the pitch that he could actually make a statement that would make any difference.
I've no idea what you think was right, or what manpower and organisation you think can change anything?
I know John Hawley pretty well. My parents and grandad used to deal in antiques. He's a decent bloke.
I was acknowledging that Dutch was right if he did indeed say that actions from corporates (such as this) could be more effective than actions in the North stand. I'm not saying anyone should cancel their memberships, that's entirely a personal choice and I understand why it's not practical to cancel a corporate membership which was paid for up front several years ago. I think John has shown that there are better things to do than cancelling.
I was thinking that we need to keep this pace up and organise more of this kind of thing. Clever ways of getting the club's plight into the national spotlight and making it less comfortable for Ehab to kill our club. However, my point to Dutch was that to organise and co-ordinate these things takes effort beyond just writing on a forum that others should do it. Perhaps we could have arrived at this point sooner if the idea was originally suggested in a clearer and less confrontational way.
I can only guess why he tried to claim it was about cancelling, it wasn't. It was about protesting and having banners.
It wasn't posted in a confrontational way, it was received that way by some, including you.
It's no good trying to claim others should do it, when you've only just acknowledged you should have listened. Perhaps if you had, some would have stepped forward to help.
As you now realise this,perhaps things will improve in the future with such things.
