No I'm just a not a complete soft twat who wants football to become none contact. In the thrusts of a physical encounter and sporting situation, sometimes because of the adenalin, it will spill over. It happens most weeks in every football game. With your reasoning we'd be playing 9 and 10 aside games every week across the country. It matters not, grabbing someone in an aggressive manner in football is a yellow card offence. Its funny there is no such furore when other teams players do it like say Rio Ferdinand. You're right. If it were Joey Barton v a Sunderland XI it'd probably end up a bore draw. Luckily we have ten other quality players, each a match for anything you lot have to offer. Should be a good game but Barton isn't the only one you should be worrying about.
