I'm not sure why, but lots of Swans fans are in denial, just like they were when Rodgers left. The deal is almost finalised. Time to move on and find a good replacement.
I agree there only needs to be one thread to discuss this, can one of the moderators merge all these threads together please. Also it would help if people would stop creating a new thread when for nothing, if it was completely new like he had signed for Liverpool I would understand, but its just rehashed garbage like this thread which is fairly new.
yes the deal is done and if it comes out undisclosed then it will be a lot less that £15 million and include performance related add ons. The trigger for allens release was nowhere near £15 million it was definately £10 million so all the media reports saying £12-13-15 million is a load of tosh. and if you put your sensible head on then £10 million is the more realistic figure.....What we want is for joe who incidently started all this by saying he wanted to join liverpool after King Kenny showed an interest in him and now rodgers is there then he will know joe's intensions, so the only way we will get near the £15 million mark if joe is willing to join another club who will pay more than the release price that liverpool can have him for....but i doubt that..
My reading of the situation was that Allen's replacement is Jonathan Alexander de Guzmán.

I can't see that at all, all I can see is people a little cheesed off in the way its apparently being done. And they want a fair price for him. Maybe you'd like to quote some of the people in denial Casual Fan?
Jager- Spot on, nobody has a problem with Joe bettering himself,its the way that Rodgers has gone about it that has pissed off most of the Jack faithful!! this is where most Liverpool fans are getting it wrong also, none of us think that £15m is a bad deal but the way Liverpool have used the media to unsettle the player and leaked details of his contract(not proven) has made them come across as lacking a bit of class, nobody wants Joe to go but we all understand that if he wants it he goes with all our blessing, its just a shame that rodgers who left us with our blessing and thanks has turned into a bit of **** !!

Thought he played well tonight. Good assist and looked a lot more confident than against Senegal and UAE. Dictated a little more, and got a vital block in too. Summed his game up nicely tonight.
I think a correctly headlined fresh thread is required to talk over anything so shockingly radical as a new thread to discuss the mergence of any currently running threads. This thread should be clearly headlined with the words Joe and Allen to keep in line with the existing threads on the same subject matter to avoid any confusion.
