if liverpool are mad enough to pay £15m then you've just got to take advantage of their sheer lack of what players are worth.

spurs are run by levy who would offer a more realistic figure, probably about half that....<ok.

It could be much less than £15 million, It all depends what the release price is,,,,there is all kinds of different quotes what that figure is but i doubt it would be as high as £15 million....Im hoping that if he is determined to move then he will allow others like spurs to bid and maybe we could get a really good price for him....

Unless I'm being lied too, and there is no reason why this would be as it comes from someone inside Liverpool, the release clause is definitely £15m.

HOWEVER

For what reason I don't know but LFC seem to think they can get him for less and £12.5-13.5m has been mentioned but not certain. Same person told me Swansea are happier to negotiate a sale than they are making out in public and have conceded they will lose him.

I don't know where this supposed interest from Spurs is coming from because nobody in the know their end has heard anything about it and have told me they wouldn't go anywhere neat £13.5m for him, let alone, £15m and AVB is adamant he wants Moutinho. They also told me Spurs spending is finished until they sell some players to generate funds as they have spent their free cash on Vertonghen and Sigurdsson and have agreed a price and wages for Adebayor so need to sell Modric now which could drag on yet.

As I understand it, the release clause is for 15m and that includes add-ons. So Liverpool are hoping to pay less up front with the rest as add-ons.

Regurgitated so-called news repackaged and put out a week later than the rest of the online news sites. Surely you could see that?

And the release clause says £15 million, so Allen should know this (unless he was kept in the dark), then that`s what it should be. Huw & the board should stick to this and nothing less, with no loan signing in the deal. I will lose a bit of faith in Huw & the board if they cow down to Bender & the Anfield mafia. Kick arse Huw, if they want Joe, they gotta pay full whack.

Phil McNulty is not a bad source as he works for the BBC and they don't bullshit and he might be getting his info of his colleague Ben Smith who is one of the most in the know journalists at Liverpool.
