Xig is not as he used to be

He is punch drunk now and gets battered by everyone he takes on

Xiglly appearing here would confirm the suspicions of a lot of 606ers

Best to stick with muggins

I will admit that i don't know enough about Buemi's race to comment. If you can show me how Buemi had similar traffic and Tyres (would he not have saved a set by going out in Q2?) then this is a good point.

There is a really easy and obvious awnser to this. They did not know it was wrong, before it was too late to change it anyway.

Strategy was not wrong, Buemi made it work

The reasons for that could be luck or traffic but ultimately will include Buttons inability to achieve the predefined delta for each stint, Button did not drive fast enough during the stints
He got held up by Massa? the strategy did not work also because he was not able to dispatch Massa quickly enough

Buemi in a car 1.3 seconds a lap slower who also started on used softs finished only ten seconds behind him

Nothing wrong with the strategy, all outcomes would have been considered using a Cray computer, it would have worked on paper

On the day Button couldn't make it work
It could have been changed as late as his third stop

Jeeze

It was the length of stints that made Button's strategy not work, not him not being able to drive fast enough. If you look at Buemi's stints apart from the first stint all of his stints were longer than Button's. If Mclaren had left him out for longer which his lap times show they could of Button probably could of finished 4th or 5th.

Ok Tambo

So you say it wasn't the strategy that was wrong, it was Mclarens execution of that strategy that was wrong

Fair enough that could be it

But Button is a part of executing that strategy so collectively they failed to make it work as well as Torro Rosso
