I'm not sure many clubs would've been able to initiate a Plan B when the striker you thought was going to stay up and left the day before the transfer window closed. Do you sit down with Siggy and agree everything with him two months before the window closed, but say we'll only complete if Remy goes? That would not be a funny way of conducting business too. Under that scenario I'd tell the club to F-off. Or maybe Plan B is to panic buy someone from the bottom shelf as there's only a day to go...?
No, what I mean is we should have at least 4 strikers on the books anyway! So, if Remy stayed I still think we should have had another striker. Then when Remy left at the last minute we would have at least had another one on the books aside from Charles Austin and Robert Zamora.

Fair comment, I don't disagree with that.

The word I would use is contingency. Seems it was forgotten before the season started. Lets hope by the end of this window that has been rectified and we are able to plan with contingency in mind.

I quite like the idea of this player and have a good mate who is Ajax supporter who says he is a pretty good player and would be a good fit for the Prem he is just not the first choice with Ajax.

However if you go to his Facebook page you will see 4 weeks ago he had a nasty tackle, potentially a career ending, where his ankle was completely bent over so for that reason I'm out!

Funny you should hype this...but saw this am ...he is training with Spurs.
It struck me odd....if he is that close to joining the Foxes....why not go there

perhaps it is not as tied on as people make out

But having said that I am not so sure I want him..
Would prefer someone more hungary

Sounds like just the man for the job! I'd love another player to come in and lay out on the treatment table!

Proof of how **** online journalism can be. In fact, I'll post it here so that they don't get more hits.
The headline is written purely to get attention. No where in the article does it show that Harry has "intention" to bring Salah to QPR.

QPR boss admits intention to bring Chelsea star across London
January 8, 2015
Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has admitted he is keen to bring Mohamed Salah to Loftus Road, the Express reports.

The Egyptian has failed to break into Jose Mourinho’s first team plans this season, with the Portuguese boss operating with quite a tight rotation policy.

Salah has only been granted three substitute appearances in the Premier League this term, although he has started three matches in all competitions, he is yet to complete the full 90 minutes of a single match.

The ‘Egyptian Messi’, as he has been called previously, is expected to be eager to seal a temporary move away from the club, in order to find more consistent game-time, with Inter Milan and Sunderland also rumoured to be interested.

The former Spurs boss admitted that as much as he would like the former Basel winger to join him until the end of the season, he doesn’t believe he is available.

Redknapp said: “Of course I’d take him! But he’s not available.

“I don’t think Chelsea would loan him, I’ve never asked for him. I’ve never thought about him until it was mentioned now.

“He’s a very good player but I don’t think we’ll get him on loan.”

Now I'm not an itk but I have it under good authority that Lionel Messi most likely will not be signing for us during this transfer window.
