We have pace (wingers) on the bench. We have central midfielders and forwards on the wings.

Therefore, we're desperate for something different whether that's crossing ability or a contribution to the goals tally.

I agree - I know what you mean, we have wingers but as you say none of them are actually contributing anything worthwhile:

- Hoilett - has been awful recently,
- Phillips - is awful,
- Fer - has been playing LW but isn't a winger and rarely goes down the wing,
- Vargas - has been playing RW but likes to cut inside more often than not.

I hope Salah is a winger who can actually cross a ball.

If we get him the midfield would be interesting, Barton or Henry dropped or both if they play sandro with fer in the middle & Vargas & salah on wings.

If true, he should be a good addition to our squad - has looked skillful & lively when in a few of their European matches.

If he is speedy and most importantly, can actually cross the ball properly into danger areas rather than into the stands or the first defenders shins then get him in!

You missed out Adel and SWP.

This.

Don't matter who we bring in unless we show more courage and conviction going forward. That is something I'm afraid won't change before it's to late under the current management.
