I referred to your post, I wasn't responding to it! However as you've asked I would say roughly half of Leicesters team today represents the team that got them promoted. Signings in the window just closed will no doubt further dilute that over time as the new players are introduced

They signed Gray as depth if/when Albrighton leaves - and he was a PL signing anyway - and the other bloke is likely for rotation with Kante or Huth - also both PL signings.

Tigers plot Keane swoop

Championship leaders Hull City are keeping close tabs on Man Utd's young fringe striker Will Keane, sources for SiaS have learned.

The Tigers are already on the lookout for fresh faces and a possible return to the Premier League next season has put Keane in their sights.
It's understood boss Steve Bruce is an admirer of the 23-year-old, who was recently recalled to Old Trafford from a loan spell at Preston North End.
Hull scouts were on hand to see Keane score an impressive hat-trick for United's Under-21 side in a 3-1 victory over Reading last month.
Keane has been at United since he was a schoolboy and there is a feeling he could be allowed to leave in the summer, and Hull believe the prospect of regular top-flight football could be a big carrot.

Christ, it's already started.

Why not get him here on loan instead of Powell then?

I'm sure there's a few on the radar. It keeps the scouts in a job!

Nobody in the top flight is going to shell out ten million plus on McCormack who has never been tested at the highest level and approaching thirty years of age , I would put money on him signing a new contract at Fulham .

For sure,, now it will be interesting to see what McCormack does. However, any new contract he does sign will no doubt have a buyout clause. I also think it quite likely that IF Burnley don't go up this season then we shall be back in for Andre Gray again.

VARDY NEARLY WENT FOR £5M

Leicester agreed to sell Jamie Vardy to Sheffield Wednesday six months ago for £5m but Wednesday pulled out of the deal, according to Football Insider 24/7.

Former City boss Nigel Pearson reportedly sanctioned the deal, but it fell through at the last minute as the Owls owners felt the deal was too expensive.

Vardy scored twice in Tuesday’s 2-0 win against Liverpool as Leicester went three points clear at the top of the Premier League.

I think the gulf between the Premier League is bigger than ever, with the exception of Villa, even the teams at the bottom of the Premier League are still playing far better football than those of us at the top of the Championship, we'd need very significant improvements to compete.

Certainly in the striker dept we would need 3 new ones. Get James Chester back, sign up Nick Powelll if he proves himself in the run in, somehow get Isaac Hayden back and we would have more than a good enough squad to complete back in the PL. Certainly against most of them. imo.

ALL OF THEM - A GOAL IS A GOAL AFTER ALL. THEY HAVE THE SAME VALUE.
