De Sart's supposed to be a good player. Inter Milan were interested in him. Middlesbrough have made good signings; they've got one of the best owners in England.
I agree i think they ll win the title with summat to spare.
We'll finish second imo

It's been ****. We should have signed McCormack and Rhodes. I don't know why we didn't, we're unlikely to get promotion now.

So now that the dust has settled what's the verdict? My view is that it's been a very good January for the club - both in terms of results and the Transfer Window. We've kept our squad - which some posters have described as the best in the Championship - intact and possibly strengthened it with the two additions. We always have the emergency loan window to cover any significant injuries that occur. Middlesbrough have spent a lot of money but if the players bed into the team then they will continue to be a danger. I see Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday as the other two main threats. With this squad Steve Bruce has got us to the top of the League - with the most goals scored and best goal difference - and in my view we are still well on track for promotion. The only danger as I see it is if we get distracted by the FA cup - but I think that Bruce is experienced enough not to let this happen again. All in all I would give it a 9 out of 10 - the addition on loan of, say, a Campbell would have made it a 10. for me.
The cup wont be a distraction at all .
Strangely enough we could have played borh Arsenal and Forest the same day with 2 completely diferent teams

Hanging on to all our existing squad was more important than those we brought in, so we've got to be reasonably happy with what's happened. Powell is an unknown quantity, he has had some problems and he has a lot to prove, the fact that he's out of contract in the summer makes it far more likely that he's going to grasp this opportunity. Fingers crossed.

Hooper and McGeady could be canny signings for Wednesday - but they'll have to be spectacular to offset the signing of Joe Bennett, who remains the worst Premier League player I can think of in the past decade.

So when does the loan window open?
What are the rules & who are we likely to poach?

This is the last season the loan window will operate in this way. That's what they said on BBC last night anyway. Seems international rules mean no further business outside of the transfer window from next season onwards.

what if there's an out vote at the referendum?

FIFA have been demanding we scrap the emergency loan window since 2013, but we keep getting a stay of execution, presumably our time has now run out.

Not having the option of the loan window probably means we will see more panic buying than usual next season
