He is just a third keeper, as its a bit risky to have only two when you are chasing promotion.
If we had an injury we need a bench keeper with experience.

Don't overthink it.

Nick Powell was ****ing useless for us and couldnt ever turn up for training on time so NP got rid

But he looked class for Crewe. I reckon you lot will get 2nd behind Boro

Good luck for the rest of the season and lets hope come the end of the season were both celebrating

I reckon you'll get 5th, behind 4 others. Unlucky.

De Sart's supposed to be a good player. Inter Milan were interested in him. Middlesbrough have made good signings; they've got one of the best owners in England.

I'm happy we've signed Kuciak but I can't help feeling we missed out on a great player in Bentley. I hope we try and sign him in the summer if we get promoted. Either Bentley or another young talented keeper like that Norwegian lad Rossbach.

Nick Powell is diabolical. Can't believe you've gone in for him.

So now that the dust has settled what's the verdict? My view is that it's been a very good January for the club - both in terms of results and the Transfer Window. We've kept our squad - which some posters have described as the best in the Championship - intact and possibly strengthened it with the two additions. We always have the emergency loan window to cover any significant injuries that occur. Middlesbrough have spent a lot of money but if the players bed into the team then they will continue to be a danger. I see Burnley and Sheffield Wednesday as the other two main threats. With this squad Steve Bruce has got us to the top of the League - with the most goals scored and best goal difference - and in my view we are still well on track for promotion. The only danger as I see it is if we get distracted by the FA cup - but I think that Bruce is experienced enough not to let this happen again. All in all I would give it a 9 out of 10 - the addition on loan of, say, a Campbell would have made it a 10. for me.
