I can't be arsed to find the quote now, and I am paraphrasing but it was something along the lines of wanting to stay and help us get back up after what we had done for him. Frankly I would understand if he left, but I don't get why footballers pretend to be passionate when we all know the reality of the situation. It's probably a moot point anyway as there's not been any offers yet, and hopefully it stays that way.

I know the quote. He said if he wasn't sold he would give his all to the club, and that's what he's been doing. So don't turn on someone trying to do their job and do the best for themselves in their career.

It sounds like Rhodes and his agent have Blackburn by the short and curleys, according to Blackburn fans its written in his contract that if he leaves the club before his contracts up with them (June 2019) for less wages than he's on now, Blackburn have to make the short fall up till June 2019, bloody crazy.
