That's ridiculous for this level, Rhodes obviously has no ambition and just cares about the dough it seems. Shame really, as he's a great player who could easily ply his trade in the Prem.

Boro must have known what he was on before it got as far as did! They must have been given the green light on what he was on by his agent? (Edit obviously not) these things make the player look bad & greedy when it's bad work by the buying club & agent.

That's mental, he's hardly set the world alight at Palace, why are they shelling out that much for him?
Apparently the stumbling block to the Rhodes = Boro' deal in that they also wanted promotion bonuses. The total package over 4 and a half years without bonuses is £30 million apparently including the fee. Boro's turnover last year was £16 million total.!!!!!

There may be more posts on here, but I was posting on HDM, look at when I joined here, and those who were on there then will recall my stance on Stewart - he was a lightweight. There's a few around, you know. Thanks for taking the late-night trouble to trawl the archives to keep me in check, it good to know someone cares so much.

You have to wonder why a Premier team hasn't come in for him.

Just spent half an hour on the Blackburn forum, there explanation why no PL club has come in for Rhodes is 1) no pace 2) his work rate 3) his wages ,and that's from his own fans.
