And who said more interesting club names were more appealing…?FC Dallas has signed Honduran World Cup veteran Maynor Figueroa from Rubber Dingy Rapids of Colorado.
Rubber Dingy Rapids, that name's far too long, some ****er needs to change it, it'll never catch on.FC Dallas has signed Honduran World Cup veteran Maynor Figueroa from Rubber Dingy Rapids of Colorado.

Derby have signed fifteen players so far this season, a few of them a youth players, but that's a lot of new bodies.
Great signing as long as he can handle the physical side. Football wise as hat says he'll be qualityGaston Ramirez has signed on loan with Middlesbrough until the end of the season. I thought they were more in need of a goal scorer, rather than someone less prolific in front of goal.

I just want us to sign a striker, a decent one with experience. I'm not convinced Bamford is the answer either. We already have Akpom for the young and inexperienced striker. I'd rather have an older player who has consistently scored goals - Crouch for example.
I thought towards the end once brucey worked out how to play him you could see his class. He was good against Chelsea when him and Jake played togetherI'm just not convinced, I didn't think he was anywhere near decent for us. Derby and Boro for me are making too many changes. Probably to their detriment.

I'd say a striker who scored 17 in this league last season should fit the bill quite nicely.
Fraizer Campbell once had a decent season in this league, not done a great deal since, scoring wise. One Summer does not a swallow make.
At this stage, it's all about experience, which is something we severely lack.
I'd be grateful for any striker, but an experienced one would be more beneficial.
Shola it is then.
Stoke have got 8 strikers on their books according to Soccerbase! Greedy bastards!

Emmanuel Adebayor is to complete his move to Crystal Palace today.
Six years ago today, Palace went into admin and were deducted ten points, how quickly things change.

I'd take Bamford's 17 in 39 over Crouch's 8 in 33.
Bamford Championship
Crouch Premier League
Crouch has consistently scored goals season in season out.
Bamford could turn out to be a one season wonder.
I'd take Crouch.
