He's been taken on-board I reckon to replace the supposed loss of creative midfield input, lost since Tomlin's departure?
Oh for sure. However some of the goals that Blackpool leaked were awful. But with the PL riches being so vast you can understand why Bournemouth are backing Howe. I like everything about AFC Bournemouth and want them to stay up.
Rumours in the midlands that WBA are ready of offload James Chester this month in order to rival Bournemouth for QPR winger Matt Phillips. The dramas appear to be having a January sale like no other now. Charlie Austin has gone. Robert Green - Sandro - Leroy Fer - Matt Phillips can all go If The Price is Right. Come on down. ++++++++++++++ Sunderland GK Jordan Pickford has signed a new long-term contract with the club. The new deal keeps him at the SOL until 2020.!!!! FACT.
Latest betting odds still have Norwich as favourites for Bamford, however odds cut significantly on a move back to Middlesboro who are now second favourites. Either way it seems Gibson is prepared to fund a new striker, one of either Rhodes, McCormack or Bamford. If Brucey is looking at Bamford its going to go down to the wire as obviously he appears to have little option but to play a waiting game whilst players weigh up their options
The January transfer window means more to PL clubs than FL ones. We have the loan window (if required) which opens up on the 8th February. Steve Bruce can afford to play the waiting game. imo.
I agree, if no one leaves then we'll be ok subject to Abel not getting injured or suspended. If the right striker loan option does come along then that's the icing on the cake
Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Emmanuel Adebayor. £77k a week apparently, it's half what he initially demanded.
Emmanuel Adebayor has signed a clause-based 18-month contract with Crystal Palace. Edit: Palace have just announced the deal is until the end of the season, maybe there's another year triggered by a certain amount of appearances.
All these players Derby are signing I can see being more of a hindrance than a help. They are all going to have to gel as a team, say another 5-6 games. It's not going to give them many games to bridge the gap. They've fluffed it in my opinion.
Derby have signed fifteen players so far this season, a few of them a youth players, but that's a lot of new bodies.
FC Dallas has signed Honduran World Cup veteran Maynor Figueroa from Rubber Dingy Rapids of Colorado.
