I thought QPR were in for Bamford? Washington as well? Not the usual enormous wedge P'boro manage to extract for strikers!

They can have Wood however I would think we would be a better option for Roofe once the FAC game is over with.

He said and I quote """We(Birmingham) are a proper team as we play for each other whereas Derby have talented players who don't play as a team"" un-quote.

Factor in the owner Morris went into the Derby dressing room post game against Reading and Paul Clements comments as well after that game. I would like to know just what Morris and Clement made of losing 0-3 @ home to Birmingham on saturday and who have just sold there top player. Derby is not a happy ship atm. Burnley away in your next match will not help I bet ? <laugh>

Hopefully they'll fall further away.

Thanks mate.

All around us are strengthening in key positions, or at least trying to. We in the other hand are exceedingly quiet, worryingly so. We should really be flexing our muscle and bringing in some firepower. Even if it is just to lay down a marker and say we've just put 6 past Charlton, but we want to be even stronger.

I see Bolton have boosted their attacking threat by releasing Shola Ameobi today.
I think I'd take him for a few months. Thought he was the only thing Bolton had against us.
Bring him on to hold the ball up last twenty. He'll do a job.

Where's the money coming from?

I know we don't have any money. But money should be made available if the club whether under the Allams or under our perspective new owners want a better guarantee of PL football.

A signing doesn't have to cost a fee, wages yes. We could have Kermorgant and Campbell on a free. Or someone like Paddy Madden for a nominal amount, by nominal probably £1.5m maximum.

Beyond Hernandez, we look weak in attack.

Shame we can't get Pelle on loan, he's been told he can leave Southampton.

Who else would Steve Bruce want? Is Asamoah Gyan still pissing about in China?

Edit: he's on £227,000 a week <yikes>

Nor are his team mates from what i've been told. The signings of Camara and Blackman have gone down like lead balloons. Also the post match comments of Birmingham defender Paul Robinson should not be taken lightly.<ok>

Derby next play @ Burnley a week tonight. <yikes>

Don't know how many Derby fans you know but as far as I'm aware they're all impressed with Camara, he's a player of the sort they didn't have - a natural wide man.

They're not too keen on Blackman but that's mainly due to them thinking he occupies the same position as Ince, and they think Ince is better, whilst Blackman has got square pegged into being a centre forward, which he's not.
