Dwight Gayle is apparently getting a new four year deal at Palace.
Surely Graeme Jones must be there for that award.....or at least the most linked player to never actually pull on a city shirt? He's our best player ever that never pulled on a city shirt.
Could have fallen out with the managers.
If i were a lower league or lower Championship club I'd get him in.
He was at Yeovil when i saw him score a cracker against Sheff U.
He's Belgian too, which is always a bonus.
Beer.Fries or chocolate?
When people say he's worth something they mean on paper and based on profits generated more than assets. It's not like he can just go out spend £400m unless he borrows it.He's worth about £400 million so i dont think he'll be to bothered either way
Bartlett?Maybe the new owner/owners don't have loads of money to spend on players or arent planning on splashing cash even if theyve got it
I was lead to believe its personal wealthWhen people say he's worth something they mean on paper and based on profits generated more than assets. It's not like he can just go out spend £400m unless he borrows it.
That money goes in to the club and then out on players. People make money by buying clubs cheap and selling them expensive - usually. That is what Hull City will get back in the PL for the next 3 seasons. He will be.
I'm not "picking" on anyone! Meanwhile, back to the thread, I still maintain that we do not need to buy a "big name" striker. A loan (Powell, Campbell?) to the end of the season would undoubtedly strengthen our squad & is all we need.He can pick on me, I don't mind, cos I think Allam is a total twat. Sooner he's gone the better.
Where did he get £400m from then? The dividends don't add up to anything like that and his salary won't be much.I was lead to believe its personal wealth
