Powell enjoys regular McDonalds & is openly mercenary in his attitude towards money. He plays six a sides, competitively, with his mates in Sandbach (regularly Sun & Mon nights). I've not heard owt about him being an alco although he did lose his licence for drunk driving a couple of years ago.

It's as much about the development of the players and passing on from their experience bank, there's a lot to be said for it. It's my opinion, so it may not be correct, it's simply what I would prefer to see. It has bugged me most this season, not for the home games but definitely some of the away games when we've looked a bit wobbly. I think age and experience is greatly under estimated.

It seems like we're getting Powell, who for me doesn't tick either box. I just hope Hernandez stays on track and injury free.

Powell is a bit puzzling, I know nowt about him, except what I've read. Apparently he can play as a striker, or maybe a strikers arsehole ... TWT as they say.
 
Cannot see us been in for a late McCormack bid, we have no money and didnt he just have a transfer request turned down?

Can't see it myself either - SB told RH on Friday that deals for Powell and this keeper we're after were the only deals in the offing
