Deeneys 30+ isn't he? Considerable upgrade? I doubt he's better than a goal every 4/5 games and while I don't know much about him and his character he has been incarcerated as recently five years ago for kicking a man in the head while on the floor in a fight. Top Geeza!

It's not a 'bad' sign - it's potentially positive. He wants out, badly, cleanly. She wants to invest immediately.

Deeney (29) - since joining Watford, 233 apps, 102 goals.
Joselu (27) - dogshit forever.
 
I've seen Deeney speaking a few times about his past, being banged up etc. He's very straightforward about it. Sometimes you can end up a product of where you grow up. He seems well and truly over it. I'd say he'd be a good signing for us right now. We also know he's scored goals in the prem
 
Tosun is in contract talks with Everton after a deal being accepted, may not be such a bad thing as hopefully would stop Everton chasing Walcott who, along with West Ham and Southampton, we are apparently keen on.

Seriously worried about the standard of player we are looking at in general though. Ings, Slimani, Deeney are all relegation fodder strikers and no better than what we have. Can't see the point in chasing dross.

Michay Batshuyai, Walcott, Giroud are, or should be, all looking for new clubs and if we actually have an ounce of ambition should be chasing players of this quality not the bottom feeders we've been linked with. Even if its loan deals surely its got to be better to have someone with a bit of pedigree for 6 months than a waster for 2/3/4 years.

Am more worried that we even wasted our time offering 10 when the true sale value was more than double. I think Penfold is now actively taking the piss out of us by even thinking we swallow all the ‘we tried’ bollocks.
That stinking stain on our club and his vile puppet master need to **** off ASAP.

It’s also funny how Steve Wraith, self appointed fans spokesman seems to be sucking at the fat mans udder.

When we eventually get sold I hold we have a clear out of some of our so called fans too.

Batshuyai is the one I would go for but not sure Chelsea will allow out until they have a replacement. Similar to Kenedy.

Giroud I couldn't see coming to us at present even on loan and not sure Arsenal want to loan him out.

Walcott we are apparently interested in on loan.

Would accept Slimani though as he seems better than what we have and likewise Deeney if on loan. Ings could be good as not a bad player but seems "fragile" and can't take risk on him being injured.

For the balance of the season and pending Mandy taking over we have to aim to get the best we can in the situation we are in and in any event better than what we have available now.

Why bother when you can pick up a fat paycheck for sitting on the bench in your cosy romper suit, awaiting the day when your contract expires and you can get a huge payday from whichever club you go to on a free transfer?

I have no idea why Arsenal would want to lose Giroud. As far as I can tell although TBF I don't follow them that closely he seems to score a bunch of really important goals for them. If they are in the sh*t they put him on and bang, goal straight away.
 
Chelsea signing Barkley for £15m. Potentially a ridiculous bargain and chump change to them, highlights there wasn't a chance in hell we could have come close.

Exactly what we needed mind. Hey ho. Another day, not even a sniff. Rumours abound that Charnley has checked out, mentally, as he knows he's out of a job. He was ****ing garbage anyway, and now we've got a useless sack of **** who doesn't even want to try.

I'm going to stay adamant that the fat ****er doesn't own the club anymore. Not like he's going to sing it from the rooftops. I imagine the holiday was his little celebration.

Whatever happened to those kids we signed from Arsenal/Everton an'all?
